GENERAL RETREAT INFORMATION
The following information is given in order that the Retreat may be more enjoyable for everyone. It is expected that all persons will fully cooperate. The best way to avoid a misunderstanding is to have a good understanding.

 ATTIRE:

This trip is presented as a ministry of Prays Mill Baptist Church. Even with the constantly changing trends in fashion, we can dress as Christians and be both fashionable and respectable. In 1 Timothy 2:9, the BIBLE says “that women adorn themselves in modest apparel”. This principle of modesty applies to both sexes. Since young people must bring clothing that is to be worn on the Retreat, parents are responsible to see that only clothing that meets the guidelines listed on the sheet; ITEMS NEEDED FOR BEACH RETREAT is taken.

CURFEW:

To insure that each person has the proper rest needed to enjoy the trip, we will have a set time announced for “Lights Out” after the evening session. No one is to be out his or her sleeping area after “Lights Out” for any reason other than to see a counselor for an emergency situation.

(There is absolutely no reason for guys to be in the girls’ area, or for girls to be in the guys’ area.)

DAMAGES:

Each individual is responsible for any damages they may cause. If damages occur, they must be reported immediately. There may be a monetary fee for damages incurred, depending on the situation.

FIRST AID AND MEDICATION:

All cases of illness should be reported to a counselor immediately. It is also important that the leaders of the Retreat be made aware of any medications that are required by a physician. If a reminder is needed to take medication, please let us know.

PHONE:

For emergencies, you can call me direct (404) - 610-4762 Please keep in mind this is for emergencies only.

There is no excuse for being late. It is rude and unnecessary for one person to keep others waiting. To be able to do all the things we have planned in a meaningful way, time is of the essence. BE ON TIME!

Let’s expect GOD to work in a special way on this retreat.
